Actuary expert Gopal kumar joined Guardian Life

Gopal V Kumar has joined as appointed actuary at Guardian Life Insurance Ltd. He is a Fellow of Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI). Prior to the appointment, he has served so many reputed Asian and Global Insurance brands. He has been serving the insurance sector in Asian and South Asian countries as insurance professional for more than 22 years and has tremendous contribution in the development of insurance sectors.

Kumar is a citizen of India, has done his post-graduation from the University of Delhi majoring in Finance and Econometrics. With passion for knowledge, he has authored a book titled ‘Actuarial Aspects of Product Development’ published by Insurance Institute of India and he has also engaged with numerous research and insurance innovation.

He has been associated with life Insurance companies such as Tata AIA Life Insurance Company Ltd and Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Company Ltd previously. His professional practice areas include Product Development and Pricing, Valuation and Reserving, Asset Liability Management, Experience Analysis, Risk Management and Statutory and Management Reporting.
