Kazi Shamsul Arefin is an ICT leader in Data Research and Analysis

Kazi Shamsul Arefin completed a comprehensive Data Science program spanning 9 courses (equivalent to 1 year and 5 months) at the esteemed T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University, the oldest university in the United States. He earned the title of Data Scientist through this rigorous academic endeavor. Additionally, he holds dual master's degrees in Data Science and Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). He served as an assistant professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at a prestigious university.
Furthermore, Kazi Shamsul Arefin has served as an editor for an international journal from 2010 to 2015. With 18 publications on Google Scholar and numerous citations, he is a respected figure in the academic community. His research interests primarily revolve around high-traffic database performance and data determination using artificial intelligence techniques. He specializes in data pattern analysis, various machine learning models, and data visualization. Moreover, he is widely recognized as a database specialist and architect.
For more than 17 years, Kazi Shamsul Arefin has been deeply engaged in research, teaching, and hands-on experience with a wide array of databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redshift, and RDS. His expertise encompasses database design, administration, data analysis, data warehousing, ETL design, business intelligence development, data migration, and performance tuning.
Since 2009, he has been recognized as a distinguished member of the Oracle community. Additionally, he holds memberships in prestigious organizations such as IEEE and the Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS). He has earned Oracle certifications ranging from OCP 9i to 19c, and he also possesses professional certificates in RHCSA (Red Hat), AWS, MCSE (Microsoft), MCP (Microsoft), and MCTS (Microsoft) - SQL Server.
In 2006, Kazi Shamsul Arefin embarked on his professional journey after completing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). Currently, he serves as the Lead Database Administrator at a respected NGO in Bangladesh. Throughout his career, he has made significant contributions to various sectors, including mobile financial services, telecommunications, banking, microfinance, and software companies, both domestically and internationally.
