BUBT QA Expert Trains Faculty of Premier University on World Rankings & Accreditation

Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) proudly shares that Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mahboob Ali, distinguished faculty member of the Department of Economics and a renowned Quality Assurance (QA) expert, conducted a faculty training session at Premier University, Chattogram, on 6 July 2026. The program, titled “QS Rankings, BAC Accreditation and UI GreenMetric: A Timely Demand”, focused on enhancing institutional excellence through global ranking systems, accreditation standards, sustainability, and quality assurance practices.

As the primary facilitator, Prof. Ali highlighted the integration of QS Rankings, UI GreenMetric, and BAC Accreditation frameworks, emphasizing their role in advancing sustainable higher education. He also outlined four key pillars of higher education sustainability: Sustainable Education, Impactful Research, Green Operations, and Quality Assurance, underscoring the importance of continuous improvement, governance, and institutional integrity in achieving global standards.

The session was attended by the Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer, senior academic leaders, and IQAC officials of Premier University, reflecting a strong commitment to quality enhancement and academic excellence. BUBT takes pride in the national recognition of its faculty expertise and remains committed to contributing to the advancement of higher education quality, sustainability, and international competitiveness in Bangladesh.
