Sheikh Hasina doesn’t believe Murder Politics

Bangabandhu’s Daughter Sheikh Hasina doesn’t follow murder politics. According to Bangladesh Krishak League Central Committee’s Vice-President Arifur Rahman Dolon, the justice for the assassination of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman has been done in our country soil even though it took forty long years.

He said this recently at the mourning protest organized by the Local Awami League Leaders for the killing of Faridpur Boalmari Upazila’s Shekhor Union Awami League Vice-President Md. Idris Molla and his younger brother Upazila Jubo-League Leader Lablu Molla. This mourning meeting was held at the Bangabandhu Memorial Camp in Alfadanga Upazila on Sunday afternoon.

Protesting the killings the Editor of Dhaka Times and Weekly Ei-Somoy Dolon said that our responsibility is to ensure that those murderers get the punishment which they certainly deserves. There is no chance of neglecting this matter. We just can’t disregard this matter. My demand is if we are given the society, country and this regions leadership then those killers should not be given political favor and administrative assistance in any way.

He further said that, whatever identity those killers has, they are nothing but killers and terrorists. They are the enemies of this society and this nation.

The Founder and Chairman of Kanchan Munshi Foundation Arifur Rahman Dolon also state that, ‘‘Father of our Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman lead the Liberation War in 1971 only to build a Non-Communal peaceful nation.’’ Bangladesh Awami League is extremely strong in this region. This region is known as the base of Bangladesh Awami League. No one can deny that. What did those murderers were trying to prove by killing two of the soldiers of Bangabandhu’s ideals. I believe it’s the responsibility of each and everyone of us to be vocal against this assassination. We just want to see those killers get hanged. We want administrative assistance, co-operation from the police, co-operation from law-courts in this regard.

We will build public opinion if needed, we will go wherever we need to go and we will do as many movements as possible to ensure the trial of those culprits.

Shekhor Union’s Awami League President MN Jamal Hossain Chaired that mourning meeting. Boalmari Upazila’s Awami League President and Upazila Parishad Chairman MM Mosharrof Hossain Musha Miah, Alfadanga Upazila’s Awami League Leader SS Akram Hossain, Boalmari Tana’s Office-in-Charge Md. Mizanur Rahman, Krishak League’s Central Council’s Member Sheikh Shawkat Hossain, Faridpur district Council Member Sheikh Shahidul Islam Shahid, Shekhor UP Chairman Md. Israfil Molla, Former Boalmari Upazila Vice-President Syed Rasel Reza and few others spoke at that meeting.

Earlier Krishak League’s Central Leader Dolon went to the village named Magura of Shekhor Union to know the situation of the victims bereaved family. He conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Note, On Thursday night, two brothers were murdered by a group of thugs near the Barasia River in Alfadanga upazila. Among them, Idris Molla was Alfadanga Sadar Bazar Merchant association and Shekhor Union Awami League’s Vice-President and his younger brother Lablu Molla was Boalmari Upazila Jubo-League Leader.
