Nexus Café Palace & July Revolution Memorial Library Inaugurated in Baridhara

In a tribute to the historic July Revolution of Bangladesh, the Nexus Café Palace & July Revolution Memorial Library was officially inaugurated on July 1, 2025, at 4:00 PM in the Baridhara Diplomatic Zone, Dhaka.

The ceremony took place at House #43, Road #12, and was graced by the presence of His Excellency Haji Haris Bin Othman, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Bangladesh, as the Chief Guest. His Excellency Marcelo Carlos Cesa, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Bangladesh, attended as Special Guest.

This unique initiative is the vision of Madam Gina Ko Prodhan, a South Korean national and Managing Director of Nexus Café Palace under GS Food and Beverage Ltd. Inspired by the courage of the student-led July Revolution, which she witnessed firsthand during her time in Bangladesh, Madam Gina described the project as “a gesture of remembrance and solidarity.”

The Nexus Café Palace, a hybrid space combining a tranquil café and a memorial library, is intended as a living tribute to those who fought for justice, democracy, and freedom. While the café encourages intellectual exchange and community dialogue, the Memorial Library houses archival materials and curated collections on the revolution and Bangladesh’s journey to independence.
