A cultural evening at Independent Television

It was one fine evening. The rooftop of Beximco Media Complex at Tejgaon was fully decorated and crowded with employees of Independent Television. Because a cultural program was about to happen in the celebration of the 11th anniversary of Independent Television.
Modern, folk and local songs have been performed by the singers. However, there was also poem reciting performances.
Songs were performed by Nadia Dora, Mahmuda Moumita, Jannatul Ferdous, Tahmina Akter Shumi, and Robiul Islam. Poems were recited by Animesh Kar, Mahmuda Moumita, Mitali Das, and Sanchari Manjuri Toma. The cultural program was coordinated by Nayla Parvin Peya, Executive Producer, Independent Television. The program was hosted by Animesh Kar and Mahmuda Moumita.
It should be noted that, Independent Television has celebrated its 11th founding anniversary on 28 July at Beximco Media Complex, a press release said Friday. “Over the 11 years Independent Television has emphasized broadcasting fair and independent news,” said M. Shamsur Rahman, editor in chief and CEO of Independent Television, after a cake-cutting ceremony. He added, “Journalists are working taking life risks in corona situation.”
The television is committed to its viewers to serve factual news. To celebrate the anniversary a cultural program was also organized by the employees. This 24-hour channel started its journey on 28 July 2011.
